Asking for Job?

Hi every body,
I am working as freelancer, and I wanted to start posting my CV and ask for
job offers... But as I know that this is a public newsgroups so I am not
allowed to do all what comes up to my mind.
I wanted to ask about the rules. Am I allowed to post my CV in here, and ask
for a job offer?

Thanks

This is no the correct place, to complicate matters there are too may
unscrupulous agents who would then suddenly claim you were on their books,
so it wont be good for you. If you do wish to post into one of Microsoft's
groups try the Announcements one - but I wouldn't post my CV to any public
forum.

If it were me I would pick a few well respected agencies, and post your CV
there instead. Often people post here looking for people which is a better
approach, that way at least you are responding to them.

Thank you very much John,
Yes, I wanted to do the respectful thing, this is why I was asking for the
rules first.
Amm, well do you know any of these respected agencies that I can post my CV
to them?

After rebooting, I try to install the first step, then it tells me again an application needs to reboot so I reboot and reboot and reboot again with the same result every time... Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks

Hello all, I have a client with an application that they have purchased, it stores its data on SQL server 2000 and so I am able to do reports and some small VB apps that use the data. I can't however make any significant changes to the app itself, just what it allows you to configure. The system records jobs, when a job is closed the client want a prompt to pop-up asking if they want to record that the job is closed in a

Hey All, I have a subform that shows records in datasheet view, all sorted nicely. I have an mdb (2002 file format) that uses memo fields extensively. I've read a lot about how problematic memo fields can be and that avoiding them is a good idea. But I'm stuck with them and was wondering if there are any best-parctices for optimizing or mitigating the risk of using them. Here's what one table looks like: NoteText - Memo NoteDate - Date/Time (indexed, dupes ok) NoteBrief - Text (length = 254) Entity_ID - (Long,...

Hi, My english is not top notch and I am trying to understand what K&R2 Ex 5-11 is asking for (pg 118). It says: Modify the programs entab and detab (which I completed from chapter 1 and have on hand) to accept a list of tab stops as arguments. Use the default tab settings if there are no arguments. I am having difficulty understanding the question (not asking for answer to it). Any help would be helpful (thus the common root "help").

Subreports are also used into that report. I want it to directly display the report without asking for this info . I tried for code from google, as follows Database.Tables(0).ApplyLogOnInfo(myLogin) ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
