I have built a control that runs an on-line help system. Depending on the
category you selected via dropdownlist, it goes out and gets the child
subcategories, and if there are any, adds a new dropdownlist to the screen
for selection. This continues until there are no children, and then it
checks for a help article list based on that last selection and displays
actual articles for display.

Trying to figure out the technique which should be used

I am trying to use the TreeView Control that is part of the WebControls
package from Microsoft.
I was getting this error:
Exception Details: System.Xml.XmlException: The data at the
root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1.
I then set the permission for the file and then started getting:

Hi
Is there a way to get the onMouseDown event in a <treenode> tag? I can not use oncheck event, in fact I want the user to be able to drag treenodes, that's why I need some JScript code to be executed when onMouseDown, onMouseMove, onMouseUp events fires on any treenode. I haven't seen those events on the reference and I don't know how to make them by myself, can anybody help me with that? An idea of how to drag treenodes without the events...

I have a strange situation and I have no idea how to solve this.
Its a Recruitment Search Page,in the Admin Page, for every button click
event the Admin Person has to create a checkbox on the users page. So
whenever the Admin person comes to know about the new category in the market
he will be adding as different Sub-Categories for example ABAP, BDC
etc..etc.. on every click event as Checkboxes. And these

I need to add a string property to a TreeNode object. One way
I can do this is to use the tag property. Here is my question,
can I do it this way, create a new class e.g. MyTreeNode which
inherits from TreeNode and adds what I need. Will such
an object be compatible with TreeView and TreeNodeCollection?

Hello,
I am re-writing a visual basic .net application(visual studio 2003) in an
asp.net application(visual studio 2005). The vb.net application relied on a
treeview and hence, treenodes. The treeview and treenode class in asp.net
is limited compared to vb.net's. In vb.net, the treenode had a nextnode
property which was equivalent to finding the next sibling of the treenode.
asp.net's treenode has a child property and a parent property....
