I have an Access database/forms application that has images stored in
it. I need to develop a new VB that utilizes Oracle or the file
system as the underlying storage for these images. In order to do
this I need to retrieve and save the images to disk in their native
format.
The problem is that the images are stored in Access as the OleObject
type rather than binary. I cannot figure out how to pull these
imagesfrom the database and...

Can someone please tell me how I can on a click of a button minimize my Win

Hello,
I have created icons before with icon editor that comes with VS2003 without
any issues. Today I created another icon for my VB.Net app. But this .ico
file is not displaying the figure that I drew on it in the editor (32x32).
When I add the icon to the project, the icon does not display the figure on
the form, but it does display in the Alt-Tab box, and it displays in the
Project Properties page. Also, the icon does not display...

Hi Folks
(VS .NET 2005 on Windows XP...)
I'm using Drawing.Icon.ExtractAssociatedIcon to extract the icon from a
filepath etc. to be added to an imagelist used by a treeview.
Everything works fine but the treeview icon appears to be 32x32 squashed to
16x16 instead of the proper 16x16 icon which looks much better.

I am building a program which requires the selection of a certain icon
format specified by the user. For example, they open "Test.ico" which
contains 16x16, 24x24 and 32x32 icon sizes. How is it possible in
VB.NET to see which formats are contained by an .ico file, and how to
extract them?

I created custom toolbar icons that look and function similar to the
standard MS Access Fill/Back Color and Fill/Fore Color toolbar icons.
My custom icons call a function that uses the Terry Kreft and Stephan
Lebans 'aDialogColor' function. I modified the function slightly to
