Hi,
I want to get the controls of the windows form. I know that
form.Controls give me the list of controls but i have a problem. For
example, the toolstripmenu control cannot be reached with that way. My goal
is to list the items of the toolstripmenuit em on the form. I have only the
typename of the windows form so i am invoking the form with its typename,
and i can reach the controls like buttons,labels etc. But i cannot get the
toolstripmenu, because it is not added as a control onto the form. So, is
there a way to get the list of such controls? I think it must be. Because
code intellisense gives me the all controls,member s of the form when i hover
the mouse on the form name.

I have a a form called frmMissyFact, I have copied this form and
called it frmMissyFactBackup which reads data from a backup database
of the week before. I brought frmMissyFactBackup into frmMissyFact as

I have a form with several controls. One of them is initialized through VB
in frm_current. I am using the frm_beforeupdate event to prompt users for

I have an A2k mdb which contains a sample record so that my users can
have an online example of input for a any given field. I don't want
them to be able to edit the record, but also do not want to prevent
them from doing a lookup for the live data, so using the allowedits
