FlatAppearance. BorderSize suppose to be in pixels?

I am working with the new FlatAppearance class under the
System.Windows. Forms.Button control in 2.0 and am creating a flat button. I
set the button FlatStyle to Flat and the FlatAppearance. BorderSize to 1. In
the documentation it states that this measurement is in pixels. However, when
I run the app the border is exactly 2 pixels and not 1. No matter what you
set the border size to, it is always 1 pixel larger than what you specify.

Is there anolther property you are suppose to set on the control or is this
simply a bug?

this.button1.Fl atStyle = System.Windows. Forms.FlatStyle .Flat;
this.button1.Fl atAppearance.Bo rderSize = 0;

Thanks,
Anthony

Folks, I have an image of a circle, which I am trying to straighten out into a flat line. Dear ladies and gentlemen: How to access all the pixels of a bitmap with C#? I am working with Delphi before. In Delphi, you can use TBitmap.Scanline property to access all the pixels of a bitmap object. How to do this with C#? Any hints? Thank you very much. Best regards. Xiaoguang

I am fairly new to .Net and C# but am familiar with the Win32 API. I wish to set the pixels of the client area of a window one at a time with a specific color. I have so far discovered that System.Drawing.Bitmap has a SetPixel() method but I can't seem to find out how to have the bitmap displayed. I would actually like to have the pixels...

Why does this make no difference at all? I want my RadioButtons to have a border for appearance sake. They are using non-themed color background, for color-coding purposes in my app, and they look kind of naked with no border at all. I have FlatStyle = Flat FlatAppearance Bordercolor = Black BorderSize = 2

The function return quite rough pixels. e.g. if you use Font: Verdana, Font style:Regular, Size:8 and type 60 upper case character C, the functuion returns pixels 478.3639, but actualy it occupies a textbox that has width 545 pixels, that is about 13% difference. When using the function to get pixels and grow a textBox, the textBox is not...

I have come across something that I cannot seem to find a solution for and would like to know if anyone else has either seen the same thing and/or (even better) has a solution. If I set the BorderSize for a flat-style button on a Windows form, the border is correctly drawn in the designer but it is drawn as being one pixel wider at runtime....

I have to create some vertical text for a web page that allows users to print to labels. We decided to do this by creating an <imgtag on the web page and having the src attribute point to another ASP.NET page that generates the image on the fly and streams it back to the browser. It works fine, but I'm worried about sizing issues. The image...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
