I created a ASP.NET web setup project with the project name "Setup". I
noticed that this name will be used as the default Virtual Directory name
during deployment.
I'd like to know whether we can change this default value while preserving
the project name?

Ok here goes:
WEBSITE main directory allows anonymous users fine.
SITEA, SITEB, and SITEC are all subdirectories under WEBSITE that refer to
graphics and javascript in the main virtual directory. So we have the
following structure.
/WEBSITE
/WEBSITE/images
/WEBSITE/js
/WEBSITE/SITEA/.....

How can we change the property of one subdirectory of the Virtual Directory?
One of the directories should be granted "Write".
Should we delete this Virtual Directory to recreate it with the required
property or there is some way to do that? What I see now is a poor
documentation on the Internet about that.

Hi there,
I want to have an unrestricted root directory and some protected
subdirectories on my ASP.NET 2.0 application. I want each subdirectory to
have its own Login.aspx page.
The following article is a good start, but it uses a single Login.aspx
located in the root directory to protect a subdirectory:

I added a new virtual directory to IIS and want to set it to use ASP.Net
2.0, but the dropdown box on the IIS ASP.Net tab defaults to 1.1 and is
disabled. And the Edit Configuration button is disabled. Why is that since
I have another virtual directory on the same machine that's set to 2.0, so I
know that framework 2.0 is installed on the machine.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
