Hello, I would like to change the color of the default border around frames or widgets. Note: not the highlight border, but the default border. There have been many previous requests about the highlight border, but I couldn't find anything on changing the default border color. I know how to change the border relief and width but have found no way to change the color of it. Is there a way to do that?

Hello, I am trying to have an image in a link to show border and change color from black to reddish when user hovers over with a cursor. In IE6 it works as I would like it to, but in Firefox1 the border no longer surrounds the image.... Any comment is welcome. ..::Code::.

Hello; My "index.htm" page has 3 frames (content, navigation bar, and logo). I set the "SRC" of the "logo" frame to a blank gif image and then want to change it's contents after the other two frames have been loaded by using a javascript statement from the "navigation" frame, as shown below: top.window.ccs_logo.src = 'images/ccs_logo.gif'; alert(top.window.ccs_logo.src);

I have some javascript which allows a header, iframe and picture to be changed when the user clicks a next/previous button. In Opera, if you click next enough times to loop back to the start, or back to get to the previous one the the javascript fails. I have narrowed the problem down to Opera trying to load things from cache as it only happens when you go over a previously displayed iframe/image/header and if I clear the cache then you...

Given some recent success on a simple form validation (mainly due to the kind folks in this forum), I've tried to tackle something a bit more difficult. I'm pulling data down from a database and populating a simple table. I'd like the table to contain 10 entries per page and have the option for the user to scroll through the pages of data without having to go back to refresh the page (I've already pulled all the info I need from the...

I have two multiple select inputs. Initially the first contains a bunch of items and the second is empty. Using a common method, I move items back and forth by double clicking on them. This portion works perfectly, but I would also like to change the background color of the select element with the current focus. I have defined the following classes: ..selected {

Is there a simple way to change a UserControl border color? I'm creating a UserControl that will have a border, using the UserControl.BorderStyle property. The standard border is black; I'd like to change the color to something a little more appealing. I've tried overriding OnPaint, like this: public partial class MyControl : UserControl { public MyControl()

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
