Screensaver with webbrowser control

I want to write a screensaver that plays powerpoint presentations.
So I have a form with a webbrowser control.
Is there any way to get the containing form to know when the user has
moved the mouse if the user moves the mouse over the webbrowser

At the moment I have the webbrowser control only 90% of the full screen
size (the containing form is full screen size), and the screensaver
terminates when the mouse is moved into the screen area outside the
webbrowser control. So it works. But it is not satisfying.

This is my first c# program (first .net program in fact).

thanks for any help. I realise this is a non-trivial question;
Powerpoint 2000 itself doesn't seem to implement mousemouse events
during a slideshow, although I don't have much experience with
Powerpoint macros.

I have been given an unusual task to create a Windows Service to do something periodically to make the screensaver timer reset. We have a general policy of locking computers automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity. This windows service would be used on some machines to prevent the lock from occurring every 10 minutes. I have tried to reposition the mouse pointer with the Cursor class in a service, but it does not work -- always...

How would I implement the IDispatch interface to handle the following in VB.Net <BEGIN> Controlling Download and Execution The WebBrowser Control gives you control over what it downloads, displays, and executes. To gain this control, you need to implement your host's IDispatch so it handles DISPID_AMBIENT_DLCONTROL. When the WebBrowser Control is instantiated, it will call your IDispatch::Invoke with this ID. Set pvarResult to a...

What are the advantages/disadvantages of using the Flash component on my screensaver application? The basic animation that the screensaver will include can be done either with Flash or by writing code. But with the Flash control, I can easily add much more fancy animation. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
