Hi!
does anyone know some good C# or VB.Net library for working with sound?
I would need to do the folowing:
- take audio file
- create small sound distorzion (with some kind of classical filters)
- save changed audio file
It could be commercial library, ofkors.... I'm willing to pay the price...

If you using .Net Framework 2.0, you can use System.Media namespace
that includes :
SoundPlayer
SystemSounds
SystemSound

System.Media is NOT a v2 namespace, it's a V3 WinFX namespace actually in
beta, WinFX will become available at the time Vista hits the streets.

Sound works on my computer. I can play MIDI files,
audio CD's. My standard wave files play OK (IE,
C:\windows\Media\tada.wav).
But running DoCmd Beep doesn't result in a sound.

Last week I got faced to a curious problem when try to access the
member pointers of my class in the worker thread. In main thread
everything is ok, but in worker thread when I try to access member
pointers I got access violation failure. The curious part is that the
pointers addresses are ok, but the place where their points seem to be
empty in the worker thread but not in main thread.

There is no active mixers Available.To install mixer devices,go to control panel,click printers and other Hardwares and click add Hardware
