Excel => .NET...Grid, Chart

Hi

We have a lot of applications created in Excel, but now we want to move from
Excel to the .NET platform. The application will use grids and charts. What I
know the .NET controls are good basic ones, but not suitable in advanced
applications unless you create them yourself.
Can you recommend any good Grid and Chart controls on the market?

We Use ChartFX and Infragistics - they are good. I think there are also some
cheaper alternatives which are equally good. But these are industry leaders.

Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System is a single option that
has all what you are looking for. It's also a good approach if you don't
want to shell out money get solutions from two different companies.

Hi
If youre looking for a good charting component for .NET I would
recommend Nevron Chart for .NET. We use Nevron Chart for more than 2
years and its very comprehensive component. Personaly I think its more
than good. The support is also good.

Hi All, I am using Access 2000 to generate over 40 Excel charts and pivot tables using early binding to the Excel 9.0 object library. I am finding that if I show the Excel object while processing the charts, the whole process completes in around 2 minutes. However if I hide the Excel object the same process takes around 27 minutes to complete. I have played around with screen updating and this makes no real difference to the time. Does...

Heres and interesting problem: I have a VB.NET program that creates reports via. Word Automation. This all works fine. What I want to do as part of this report generation process is to embed a graph/chart within the report, once again from VB.NET. I have chosen to use Excel.Chart.8. So, to embed I do this from VB.NET: Dim theNewShape As InlineShape = m_Document.InlineShapes.AddOLEObject (ClassType:="Excel.Chart", _

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
