Bar Code in the Report Designer?

Is there any component to work with bar codes in the report designer,
ou some way to accomplish this task? I'm using VS2005.

Thanks.

Osmar.

Osmar,

Offhand, I would say no. I would think that you have to save the
barcode as an image, and then place the image in your report.

Hope this helps.

There are numerous barcode fonts out there. All you need to do is
install some on your machine and then place text on your page using the
barcode font as the font for the text.

We use the Carolina barcode fonts for 3 of 9 encoding:

http://www.carolinabarcode.com/

In our case, we design from XML schemas, so we can't see sample data in
the designer, so we don't see the barcodes as they ultimately appear on
the reports, but they do appear on the reports, and they do scan.

Hi I am attempting to upgrade an MSAccess VBA application to .NET. In the original I was able to offer the user a dynamic, user-defined report designer by adding user-selected fields to an Access report form and then allowing the user to size and position the fields as required. In attempting to do the same in .NET I need either a reasonably priced third party report designer with a runtime licence or to be able to create a

Hi - Is it possible to hide the detail section of a report at run time? I have a report that prints all details, with summary lines. The user would like the report ALSO with just summary lines. It seems the simplest thing is to run the code (see below) once with the detail section showing, and a second time hiding the detail section. I can't figure out the code to do that and don't see it posted.

In my application ListView is inside panel (XP theme enable), item text in the ListView control overlaps other items in small icon view. There is no problem regarding List and Details mode. What might be the problem?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
