named "Row_ID")

I have a datagrid to which I assign this datatable. I also apply some
styling to this datagrid so I only see some columns from this table

Hi,
I am working with an 'in session' ado dataset with an asp.net application.
My dataset is comprised of two tables, one of which maintains a few
calculated datacolumns. For some reason these datacolumns do not trigger
their expression when other columns from which the expressions are derived
are updated. Below is a basic example of what I am doing.
User enters values into an asp.net form and clicks a button.
Retrieve dataset from...

Something I've found quite useful to do in my code is to select a record
from my database which may or may not exist, and then if I find that it
doesn't exist to add it to the datatable before I set the field values. For
example:
Dim dt As DataTable
dim dr As DataRow
'Does the row already exist in the table?

I need some help with solving my problem.
I'm writing general procedure to find a values in any table. My idea is
to pass to that procedure: TableName and ArrayList with parametere.
Arraylist contain FieldName and Value for that FieldName. Every table
has Primary key which can have one or more fields in that PK.
My problems is that I don't know how to pass that parameters in
arbitrary way. For e.g. in below example from help you have...

I'm using oledb to an Access datatable. I load the table into a dataset. I
create databindings to link the fields on my form to the corresponding
fields in the datatable. The tables DefaultView.Sort is set to the field
that is bound to a dropdown (where I can pick what record to view, and the
dropdown list is sorted). I click a rec in the dropdown, and all the values
of that record then populate the fields on my form. Editing, and...

Hi, I have a sql table containing the answers for some tests. The
information in this table is presented vertically and I need to create
strings with them. I know how to read the data in VB.Net and use a
StreamWriter to build the strings. However, the problem lies with the
reading of each row.
Most of the test takers don't give answers to ALL of the items in a
test, but those unanswered items need to be accounted for by using a
comma...

After reading a tutorial and fiddling, I finally got this to work. I can
now put two tables created with a DataTable class into a DataRelation.
Phew! And it works!
Dim tblSliceInfo As New DataTable("SliceInfo")
Dim tblSliceRatings As New DataTable("SliceRatings")
'.... All the adding datacolumns, datarows, etc. goes here..
DatasetInit.Tables.Add(tblSliceInfo)

Hi,
I have an issue with reading CSV files.
I am to reading CSV file and putting it in a Datatable in C#. I am using a regular expression to read the values. Below is the code. Now, it reads CSV file without any issues only if all the fields are not null. If any field is blank, it moves the values to the left and displays the value under invalid column.
Example is shown below:
A part of CSV file.
I am reading the first row as...

I created a TableAdapter (TA) in my VB 2005 project. I tested it to ensure
that its CRUD functionality is what I expected it to be.
I'm using the TA and its strongly-typed DataTable (DT) in my Wizard.
Initially, I populate the DT using the TA.GetData.
I pass the DT to a ASCX-styled control that 'pivots' (turns years into
columns) the data into a new DataTable (DT2), then binds it (DT2) to a
GridView form. I save the original DT in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
