Multiple copies of word documents in same window.

Hi,

In my app (Windows Forms, C#), I'm using word document templates
(created by myself, with bookmarks, that they are used to personalize
the document) for the creation of documents/contracts. Everything very
simple.

In many cases, these documents will be opened in the MS Word for
manually print. Here's the doubt: what I need to make so that these
documents are opened in the same window of the MS Word, instead of a
window for each document?

I'm using MS PIA for Office 2003.

Regards,
Fernando Botelho

I'd like to be able to print multiple documents are once using vb.net. What is the best way to do this with out having to print each document one at a time via a loop . Can't I send them all to a spool at once or something? Ideally, I would like the code such that multiple users can print via my application at the same time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

hi, I have a program which waits for batches documents to be dropped into a folder, once this happens, a class which activates the word object is instaniated per batchg of docs & a number of things such as spellchecking grammer checking etc are done. When one batch(containing one or more docs) is dropped in, everything works fine, but when multple batches are dropped in(ie many classes of the same class are instaniated, weird things...

We have a requirement to initiate more than one instance of an application using the filenames. (the example below will start two instances of MS Word). The problem is that we need to close each word document individually, but this does not appear possible using the Process object. When I run the example below the process object "p" can be viewed using Quick Watch however process object p2 is displayed as undefined. This appears to be...

I have a DataTable that is being maintained in a Model class. I also have a View class which creates a DataView from the DataTable that the Model passes it. The view class then has methods to filter the contents of the DataView so that the user can narrow down the list to the items they are interested in. This all works fine as long as I only have a single instance of the View class, however whenever I create a second instance of the...

Apologies for the newbie question. I have created a vb.net program for my company that is designed to work with Word Templates (about forty of them that we commonly use) that are selected by the user and populated (with info from an Access database) at run-time, then saved as Word documents. The program I have coded works fine -- it does what I need it to do. But it has two problems: (1) it runs very slowly, and (2) it does not seem to...

Hello, We're developing an application (.NET 2.0) that let's users drop documents in the application and allows users to show some document types "embedded". For example, a textfile would appear as a text box. We also want this for office documents, and want to give the user the possibility to edit these documents inline, so they will not have to work in a separate excel window. We've been using the Webbrowser Control for this, but this...

Basic question: Does anyone know how to go about adding a control to an Access 2007 form that will allow viewing a Word 2007 document? Reason for asking: My office is about to receive 100+/- Word 2007 documents that contain data that needs to be imported into various fields of an Access 2007 table. To facilitate the import process, I was thinking of creating a form in Access that would have a Word control (or "window") at the bottom of the...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
