Is anyone here using Mono at all? And if you are - are you using it on
Linux? And if you answer yes to either, then I would like to discuss
the design of a ncurses language binding I'm developing :) I have a
couple of approaches in mind - and I just need someone who is a little
familiar with linux, mono, and ncurses to bounce them off of :)

We have an application converted from v1.1 Framework to v2.0. The executable
references a class library which in turn has a web reference. The web
reference 'URL Behavior' is set to dynamic. We added an entry to the
executable's .exe.config file to specify the URL, and under the 1.1 framework
this worked well. Unfortunately, this is not working under the 2.0 framework.

Hi there!
Does anyone know a resource where to find statements about
reliability, stability and performance about a WebService running
under Mono on a linux machine?
Plan is to write a webservice to provide DB informations, but this
service should run on a linux machine.
Any other approaches to this are appreciated, too.

Hello,
I am receiving this error when trying to instantiate a webservice component.
I have 2 development machines, both are XP sp2 with VS 2008 installed. On
one machine, the code works fine. On the other machine I get the error upon
instantiating the service client. I add the reference by choosing Add
Service Reference from the project menu, and pointing to the remote wsdl
file. I can't seem to find what the difference between the two...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
