Hello everyone:
I am developing a VB.Net Windows Application and I am now ready to create
the deployment project for it.
This application needs to be installable on a different number of users /
clients, and the application has an Access DB out on their network.
How can I create a deployment routine where I can have a dialog box prompt
for the network share (i.e. \\server\dbfolder) at install-time?

If you want to perform a slipstreamed install of .NET Framework 1.1,
including Service Pack 1, here's how.
First, what do we mean by slipstreamed install? It means that version
1.1 of the framework will be installed, with the service pack 1 update
already applied, "slipstreamed". There will be no need to download
additional updates or install service packs as a secondary step.

I have come across an issue that appears to relate to APAR IY76615:
IY76615 CONNECTION WITH .NET DATA PROVIDER MAY FAIL WHEN UPGRADING TO
DB2 V8 FP10
This is documented as having been fixed in fix pack 11. We upgraded the
deployment target from fixpack 9 to fixpack 10 and got connection

I work on WinXP SP1. with VB6 - MS-Access(VisData).
I created a setup.exe using Package and Deployment Wizard for VB 6. But when the program is installed all the files are installed to the same root destination folder. Whereas my program needs files which are in different folders in the project root folder. How can I create a setup.exe that can distribute the files to the corresponding program folders, after re-creating them all....

Hi,
We have developed a VSTO 2005 Excel application and we would like to
leverage ClickOnce deployment mechanism for distribution of this
application.
How can we do that? I was digging in MSDN for VSTO & ClickOnce documentation
and did not find anything. I've noticed that there is an option to
publish the project, but when I do that and then run the application from
Web it throws us security errors like:
