Property - DataColumn

As I can create a property in which they appear them name of the columns of
a datatable object and when selecting selects the name of the column I have
tried with the following code but when selecting it selects to the object
column instead of the name of the column. Also I have proven has to use to
typeconverter but I have not obtained anything. Thanks.

private DataColumn formCampoClave = null;
[Category("Datos ")]

[Description("Se t o get the name of field.")]

[DefaultValue(nu ll)]

[TypeConverter(t ypeof(TVector))]

public DataColumn FormCampoClave

{

get

{
return formCampoClave;

}

set

{

formCampoClave = value;

}

}

Hello, I am trying to write a class that will expose some properties. One of the property is extracted from a SQL database and can be NULL or some integer value. Is there a elegant way of implementing this in C# ? I do not want to use variant (or similar types) because I want to retain a strnong types property. Will I have no choices but to add another property that would set/get the NULL value?

Once completed, datatable can be obtained from the property. Public Class A Private dt as DataTable

Ok. I have a dataset that has multiple tables in it. In one of the child tables, I have a column that I added to the DataSet (Not in the DataSource). This column does not need to be stored in the data on the datasource. It simply gets the first name and last name of an instructor and displays it in the grid. I have two major problems.... One, it doesn't display in the column until the row is saved, (Even after calling a refresh on the...

Situation: I am using an OleDbDataAdapter to fill a DataSet's DataTable with data from an Access database. The DataSet's DataTable is bound to a DataGrid. After the OleDbDataAdapter.Fill method is called, the DataGrid displays the column headings as the column names output from the Access SQL query. I would like to change some of the styles for certain columns in the DataGrid, so I first need to set the DataGridColumnStyle.MappingName...

My DataGridView control is bound to a DataTable. Columns and rows are added dynamically to the DataTable at run tine. I am setting Caption property of DataColumn to show descriptive names of the columns, but the Caption is not shown in the DataGridView control, it shows the ColumnName instead. Why?

I'm using xsd.exe to generate a typed-dataset. Then using typed dataset tables (datatables containing two columns--a name and a value) to bind to ASP.NET dropdown list controls (for the dropdown list option values). All was fine with the binding, until I moved the dataset to a different assembly, as I found out that the DataColumn property is "Friend" (in VB.NET). Could you point me how to make the DataColumn "public", or another work...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
