How to use generated keyboard events?
What I am trying here to do is in onkeyup event handler
http://www.hot.ee/idaliiga/braggart/createEventTest.htm
generate a (shift)TAB keydown so the focus would move to the
(previous/next ) input element.

hi people,
I have a little problem that I can't solve with css and i was
wondering if you could help me.
I have 4 links, I want that when I click/mouseover in the link 1, it
turns to a color a, then when I click/mouseover over the link 2, it
turns to a color b and the link 1 turns to the normal link color
again. (an so with the other links).
Is this possible with CSS?

Form not refreshing after autopostback unless keyboard or mouse move
Hi,
We created several new ASP.NET C# forms for our intranet. In each form we
use panels for different sections of the form that are visible or not
depending on what the user is doing.
Each particular form.aspx page has a user control on it. This user control
contains the form HTML and the C# code.

Is it just me or are there no good librarys out there to access the keyboard
or mouse?
I have been looking around for a while now and can only find ones that are
bundled with a bunch of other stuff that I dont need (SDL, GLUT). I just
need a simple platform independant way to access the keyboard and mouse.
Anyone know of any good ones?

I am using Visual C# .NET 2003 to make a ComboBox accept
both mouse and keyboard selection. For mouse selection
code, I double-clicked ComboBox to get the
default "comboBox1_SelectedIndexChanged" event. This code
(see below) by itself works as expected with a mouse. But
when using keyboard arrows to navigate the ComboBox drop-
down, the SelectedIndexChanged event is triggered which
is what I don't want using the keyboard. Instead, I want...

Is there a way to make a keyboard shortcut to change the mouse focus
between dual monitors? For example, if I'm on the left-hand screen,
would be able to hit a button combination that would change the mouse
focus to the right-hand monitor? It seems like I waste a large amount
of time moving the mouse between monitors, so it would be great if I
could switch the mouse focus with the keyboard.
VB appears to have MouseFocus functionality,...

Hi all,
I have been searching for a keyboard and mouse tracker on linux. I've
read solutions (watch at sourceforge) which look at /proc/interrupts to
check keyboard or mouse activity. I also read one post where "watch"
seems to have difficulty tracking usb keyboards and mice. So, I'm out
of ideas here.
My goal are:
1. Check keyboard activity. I'm not interested in logging which keys
are pressed or record them.

I have an application that NEEDS (don't ask) to handle additional mouse and
keyboard processing during DoDragDrop. Normally, DoDragDrop kindly squashes
all keyboard and mouse events. Alternate, more specific events, are used in
their stead such as DragEnter, DragLeave, DragHover, GiveFeedback, and
QueryContinueDrag. None of these give me access to the general state of the
keyboard or to mouse events ( in my case I really need the mouse...

i'm using VB.NET.
when a button is clicked the utility will display an hour glass mouse pointer, and it will begin copying the Utility settings from one computer to another computer on the network. Upon completion of these steps, the mouse pointer will return to it’s default style and the program will exit.
any one have any idea how to display a Hour Glass Mouse Pointer? and when that settings starts coping to another computer, how can we...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
