Send messave via MS Exchange server

All,

Is there a simple way to send a plain email message via MS Exchange server?
I know that it's pretty easy to send a message via SMTP using a standard
..NET library, but what about M$ Exchange? The computer where this app should
be working has its own M$ Exchange server, all extra ports like POP3/SMTP
are blocked and I have no way to use any external mail server, but I need to
send an email message with some confirmation, actually to be received on the
same Exchange server by a local user.

This is for WinApp. If the same way cold be used by WebApp working on the
same server it would be much nicer!

Thanks,
Just D.

I've got RH9 Linux with default PHP. Is there a way to send email on Linux to an Exchange Server from PHP and/or other tools when there is *NOT* SMTP access? Has anyone figured out a way to use PHP to get inside an OWA (Microsoft Outlook Web Access) website to send email that way? The reason I ask is because my corporate office is going to do away with our rogue SMTP server access and force everything through Exchange

We have developed a commercial ASP.net application (personal nutrition management and tracking); we want to send smtp email from within it. For our development box, we use WinXP Pro, IIS 5.5, VisualStudio2002, VB as programing language. Our test/development version of the web app as hosted on our "localhost" works fine; our "Default SMTP Virtual Server" is running (per the IIS console).

If there is no email client on the XP workstation that my DB is on, is it possible for Access to talk directly with Exchange Server to send an email? I am sure you might think, what's the problem with simply installing Outlook. Well I guess I am looking for the "elegant" solution :O) Thanks Paul

(mailboxes on our network), However, when attempting to send mail to an outside address (ex: someone at gmail dot com) the mail() returns "failed".

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
