In a Python script running under CGI, can I programatically redirect the
program to another page. Assume that I have a static HTML page that I want
displayed (e.g. index.htm). Other than 'print ...' is there any way to
redirect to this URL (for example, like Response.Redirect() in ASP)?
Many thanks.

I am having a problem with printing selected pages. Actually, the problem
isn't with printing selected pages as it is more to do with having blank
pages print for those pages that have not been selected.
For example, if I were to have 5 pages with every second page printing, I
would get the following results:
Page 1 = Print OK
Page 2 = Blank
Page 3 = Print OK
Page 4 = Blank

I want to Programatically generate Access reports in the pdf format
using some tool and then email them to people in the same code. Right
now I am trying to do this with pdf995 using VBA (emailing is a
separate issue, which pdf995 does not addresses).
I downloaded pdf995. It controls printing via pdf995.ini file. In the
VBA code, I have DoCmd.OpenReport "Report2", acViewNormal. I am having
the following problems right now.

Hi all,
I have a project in C# where I am using the PrintDocument class to
automate the printing of a pdf document. Now my requirement is silently
printing the document. So I had to remove the Print Status dialog by
instantiating a StandardPrintController object and assigning it to the
PrintController property on the PrintDocument object. But my application
also needs to show the printing status in a label like "Printing 1 of
10". How...

I'm wanting to fix the following on a web page without really re-inventing
anything.
What I have is a vb web page with a radiobuttonlist where I can pick Current
or History year.
Underneath that is a listbox that has a set of reports in it, some for
current year, some for history year. If Current year is chosen, 6 reports
(depending on user access level) are listed, on the History one, 2 are
listed (also depending on user access...

Greetings community at large.
I have a c# app that generates a PDF file.
I have a printer that prints PDF natively.
But I cannot figure out how to programatically print in C# ... I can
generate the PDF as a file or a stream .. but cannot figure out how to send
either to the printer.
the only events I can use seem to be e.Graphics.DrawImage( ) or

Hi,
I have a page that has a collection of things which it passes to a
second 'print' page using a session variable.
The print page has buttons for moving though the collection and the
user prints by using the browser print button then moves to the next
one in the session collection.
All very tedious but I know no better.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
