"Not enough storage is available to complete this operation."

I'm trying to develop a web service using C# and everytime I try to
instantiate a NotesSession object like so:
m_session = new NotesSessionCla ss();
the object throws an exception with the message:
"Not enough storage is available to complete this operation."
Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Not exectly encountered it but:
what does the constructor of your NotesSessionCla ss do?
- allocate an enormous block of memory?
- allocate "small" blocks of memory in an endless loop?
- run some recursive procedure that never ends?
to name a few suggestions. And of course it could do one of the above by mistake.

Can you show some more code?

Hi,

Is this a lotus note interop class ?
IF so you better ask in the notes forums, you will get a much rich pool of
people using note, which by the way SUCKS big time !
I'm forced to use it at work and I hate it

cheers,

I have a 2GB Ram, Win2K SP4, SQL 2K SP3, 2 1.8GHz AMD processor server that is getting occasional "not enough storage space to complete this operation" errors on certain ASP pages. The only way to fix it is to do an "iisreset /restart" from a command prompt. I have the latest MDAC, Scripting engine and have checked all sorts of things. I cannot find any "on error resume next" problems in the code as suggested by Microsoft. this This...

I'm studying Craig Larman's "Applying uml and Patterns" (third ed.) reading at the book it seems (16.6) that Operations and Methods in a Class diagram are something different but it's not explained what's the difference. I always thought they were the same thing. Do someone knows what's the difference? thanx alot Giulio

I have this nasty problem with Shared methods and what I think of as "global storage" - i.e. storage declared outside of any subroutines or functions. In the simple example below this "global" storage is ButtonHasBeenClicked. In this simple example code in Form1 calls a routine in Module1 which then calls code back in Form1 (subroutine WhatEver). WhatEver needs to access ButtonHasBeenClicked but the reference to ButtonHasBeenClicked...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
