Spell Check Component Recommendations

Hello All,

I'm looking for recommendations on commercial-grade spell check components,
and was hoping you might have some good advice for me...

So far I've seen ComponentOne, RapidSpell, and Aspose, so I was wondering if
there was a general preference for one of these three, or perhaps another
one that I haven't discovered yet. Advice, comments & recommendations will
be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Evan,

Take a look at NetSpell:

http://www.loresoft.com/Applications...l/default.aspx

This component is open source and free to use.

Also, I've evaulated WinterTree Spell Server:

http://www.wintertree-software.com/dev/spellingserver/

You have to pay for this one, but it's the best performer under load
that I've seen.

HTH

Thanks,

I'm looking for recommendations for implementing spell checking on a web site. Users need to be able to spell check data entry in web pages. They might decide they want to spell check medical terminology also. Has anyone done this with a good outcome? Thanks! Bill

Hello, I am trying to quickly find a simple, inexpensive, spell checking component for a .NET v1.1 WinForms app. We do not need an entire suite of components at this time since the app is finished, all that's left is the spell checker. Can anyone recommend something to fit this bill?

I have a VB program that will be generating documentation that will be stored for 60 years. This program really needs to have spell check and I read the post below on using spell check. I was wondering if there was a way to tap into the Word spell check that shows the underlined spelling errors as the person types. If so, can someone point...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
