I have been trying to figure out what the Datagrid is doing to create its
formatting.
I found that some of my Datagrids have a 3D type of border and sometime it
has a straight line. I finally found that it comes down to whether there is
a "rules=all" attribute (which gives me just a thin black line). If that
attribute is not there, you get a 3D effect.
I haven't yet been able to figure out what causes it. Here is the table def

Is there a way to carry data that I have already read from the datagrid from
page to page?
I am looking at my Datagrid that I page through and when the user says get
the next page, I have to go to the database to get the next page. Is there
a way to use the dataset to allow us to read back and forth in it instead of
going back to the database to get it?

How do I change the color of the GridLines in a DataGrid? I don't find
any property to change the GridLines color in a DataGrid. I tried using
HeaderStyle-BorderColor as well as ItemStyle-BorderColor but neither of
them color the GridLines. BorderColor just changes the color of the
outer 4 borders of the DataGrid.
