Hello,
I am facing a strange problem. Problem accessing remote database from
ASP using COM+ server application having VB components (ActiveX DLL)
installed.
Tier 1 : ASP front End (IIS 5.0)
Tire 2 : COM objects
Tier 3 : SQL Server 2000 DB
Flow is : ASP talks with COM objects and COM objects talks with DB

I am having a problem with accessing MySQL database from my PHP code.
I tested accessing MySQL db locally and once things worked I created
the same DB on my web hosting's server. No problem creating database
and tables and populating it.
My database is called "sassisc".
However, my code dies when it tries to connect to DB:
$result = mysql_pconnect('localhost', 'sassisc', 'dodge3') or
die("Could not connect : " . mysql_error());

Hi,
We are facing problem accessing to DB2.
Seems like database manager is down
I tried starting it using db2start but it was neither showing any messages
nor returning to command prompt after finishing start. I do not know
actually if it was trying to start database or hanging somewhere

Hi all,
I hope someone can help me. I've recently created a database and wanted to
put it up on an ftp sight so that multiple people could access the same
tables at the same time from different geographical locations. I have been
completely unsucessful in acheiving this goal so far however.

When I try to update record, I kept getting this error:
Row cannot be located for updating. Some values may have been changed since
it was last read.
No other users are accessing the database - only 1 user is accessing the
database.
I open the data using adLockOptimistic locking.

I am developing apps in VWD Express and SQL Svr 2005 Express. I currently
have a web server running Win2K3 SBS W/IIS V.6.0 & ASP.NET 2.0. I am
currently using a test site that is only availible on my intranet. I have no
problem accessing the site, but when a link is clicked or somthing happens
where data is required from the SQL database, I get a long, ugly error
message that says:

I have a happily working set of asp pages which read from the database
via include file "./_private/include/database.mdb".
However, when I try to gain access to this database on pages one
folder removed using "../_private/include/database.mdb", the pages
won't display. This whole system works fine on my home test server
(iis.5.0), but 'breaks' when uploaded to the public server. I know the

archiving logs and making backup through
TSM Data Protection for DB2 UDB
The LOGARCHMETH1 parameter is set to LOGARCHMETH1=VENDOR:/usr/tivoli/
tsm/tdp_r3/db264/libtdpdb264.a
I make an online backup with include logs to servers local disk and
then tranfer backup image to my test box for backup validate.
