Error: Handling of this ADSVALUE type is not yet implemented (type= 0xb)

hn
hi!

when querying ad (win2k) i keep getting the error "Handling of this
ADSVALUE type is not yet implemented (type = 0xb)."

but the funny thing is that i only get in with certain properties like
"memberOf" - i don't get it when i query for "sn" for example. also
funny is, that i get the count-value for "memberOf" but not the
string-collection. here is the code i use.

int propertyCount = result.Properti es["memberOf"].Count; --> works!
string dn = (String)result. Properties["memberOf"][propertyCounter]; -->
doesn't work (is in a foreach loop of course)

any help appreciated!

thanks a lot!

My php logs are coming up empty. I have done all I can think of, and all that made sense to me. Can someone take a look at my php.ini please and tell me what you think may be the problem. I double-checked the path to my error log. It is in /var/www/logs/php_error_log Thanks. :) -Wayne Stevenson

Hi, One of the disadvantages of using error handling with error codes instead of exception handling is that error codes retuned from a function can be forgotten to check thus leading to unexpected run-time problems. Exceptions on the other hand can not be simply ignored. In order to solve this error codes problem I suggest using error object instead of error codes. Each function has to return an error object that stores an error

I use code extensively; I probably overuse it. But I've been using error trapping very sparingly, and now I've been trapped by that. A form that works for me on the system I'm using, apparently runs into problems on the system where it will actually be used, and since I used so little error-trapping it dies very ungracefully. I will of course try to fix whatever is causing the error and add error-trapping to the functions where the...

Hi I'm currently designing a new web application in .Net. I've pretty covered everything, apart from error handling. There seems to be a few different way to do this, but something I've read often is that loading all your code with lots of try / catch blocks is not the best way. My application is made up of a number of different sub applications. A CRM Package, with financial services, compliance and commisions etc etc. Each part has...

Hi, I hope this is the most relevant newsgroup for this post. I have a VB.NET app that uses the MapPoint component, and in my app I use pushpins to display/retrieve GPS locations. Occasionally, when I call: objMap.Distance(locNorthPole, locX) my code catches an exception that's raised, the exception is:

Hi I have a winform app with try/catch error handling implemented in key areas. Problem is errors can occur in other areas in situations that I may not foresee. Is there a way to implemented a global error handler which takes over if an error occurs that is not caught by other try/catch? Thanks Regards

I'm having problems with my error handling. It's kind of hard to explain so I'll just post my code and bold where the error handling is and then explain what is happening. Just to warn you, I am new to Perl so the code probably will be ugly! #! /usr/local/bin/perl BEGIN { open(STDERR, ">&STDOUT");

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
