I am building a web custom control that encapsulates a
series of dropdowns, buttons, etc. It is derived from a
WebControl. I have the control built so that it renders
properly. Now I am defining the public Bind() method so
that I can connect to various datasources via a
connection property I have defined.

I am having a hard time with setting a property on a custom server
control that i am placing in a repeater. The control inherits from
DropDownList. The property is being set in the repeater using the
DataBinder.Eval method. I can write that value out to the screen,
however, it is not available to the control. I think it is a problem
with the databinding of the repeater making data available to the
custom control too late.

I have a web service method that returns an array of custom objects marked
serializeable with fully described public properties.
When I bind the results to a DataGrid I can access the properties in the
ItemDataBound event of the codebehind but I can't access them declaratively
in the HTML code?

I built a custom control. It has one custom property that I created
exposed. What I want to do though is to have the property show as a
dropdown with only a limited number of choices for settings. An example
would be the dropdown style of a combo box. The designer can only select
one of three previously defined options and can not type anything arbitrary
in.

I developed a Date Picker web control using C# and .net framework 1.1
I added my control to Visual Studio 2003 IDE toolbar.
When I drag and drop my control to design web page, the control renders
correctly.
If I change to HTML the generated html is
<cc1:IT24DateTime id="IT24DateTime1" runat="server"
Type="Date"></cc1:IT24DateTime>
.... and that works correctly.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
