How do I assign values to a property in a custom control that has a dropdown style

Kay
Hello,

I have developed a web custom control, I want one of the properties of the
control to appear as a dropdown list so the user can select from the list.
My question is: how do I define an editor to fill up the dropdown list, so
far I have the following code which displays the property as a dropdown but
I do not know how to get values it to it, I have only 3 values.

Public Class EntryModeEditor
Inherits System.Drawing. Design.UITypeEd itor

Public Overloads Overrides Function GetEditStyle(By Val context As _

System.Componen tModel.ITypeDes criptorContext) As _

System.Drawing. Design.UITypeEd itorEditStyle

Return System.Drawing. Design.UITypeEd itorEditStyle.D ropDown

End Function

In the Custom control I have the property defined with the editor as follows

<DefaultValue(" "), Description("Th e behaviour mode of the Wizard
application."), Editor(GetType( EntryModeEditor ),
GetType(System. Drawing.Design. UITypeEditor))> _

Public Property EntryMode() As String

Get

Return sEntryMode

End Get

Set(ByVal Value As String)

sEntryMode = Value

End Set

End Property

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kay.

I built a custom control. It has one custom property that I created exposed. What I want to do though is to have the property show as a dropdown with only a limited number of choices for settings. An example would be the dropdown style of a combo box. The designer can only select one of three previously defined options and can not type anything arbitrary in. Can anyone explain how to do that?

Hello, I have a vb.net page which a bunch of checkboxes. A user can select a checkbox(s) and hit the submit button to store those values in a SQL Server table. This works fine with no problem the first time the user submits. However when user submits a second time while changing some of the selected boxes the page only re-submits the previosly selected checkbox values. It's like its storing it somewhere in the cache or something. My...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
