I have 3 radio buttons for include, exclued or 'select all' from the listbox
items. If a user selects the 'Select All' button' then all items in listbox
is hi-lited as selected. Now, when user selects one item out of the 'all
selected' listing then there is now only one item selected. How and where
can I put in some code to change the selected radio button to the 'include'
since it is no longer in select all mode.

I'm new to VB .NET development - I'm trying to create a
text box that as soon 3 characters are entered the focust
will then move to the next text box I've tried using
MaxLength or textbox.selection.length = 3. It will move
the focus when you select the 4th character to enter but
I would like it to automatically move focus when 3
characters are entered. I know this must be simple but
I'm in the weeds right now... Thanks.

I'm in school, taking a VB .NET 2003 course, and the
teacher taught us how to use Sender.Focus() to return
focus to the control from which focus was received.
However, when I got home, and tried it on my own copy of
VB .NET 2003, it doesn't seem to work, in fact the only
method that comes up with Intellisense is GetType. I
can't find any information anywhere either in the MSDN
Library, or anywhere else for that matter. I was hoping...

I have a form with 1 button and several labels on it. I don't want the
button to be the default if enter is pressed. I want the user to have
to actually click it for it to work. I also don't want it to have that
"selected" look with the dotted line around the text. What can I do
about all this? Thanks.

I need to change the focus from a "New Record" button back to the beginning field in a form. How can this be done. Currently the tab order ends on the "New Record" button and stays at that location. To continue entering a new record I would like it to return to the first field in the form.

Hi,
I am using VB 2005. My application has many data bound controls. The
connection is stored in the app.config file.
I want the application to start with a default connection string and
while during the runtime, the user can click on a button and change the
connection string without exiting the application.
I would really appreciate any sort of help.

Whats the easiest way to stop a Button from
taking focus away from another control on the same windows
form ?
Ive looked and not found much so far,I think theres
a controlstyle.selectable that might do what I want
but the button wont let me access SetStyle :s
I still want the button to otherwise work, and for other things to
change focus if necessary.

I created a form and put a button and a label on it. I set the tabstops to
false. When I first run it I can click the button and there is no focus
rectangle. Which is what I want. However, if I press the tab key nothing
initially seems to happen, I know nothing should because I set the tabstop
to false, but to my surprise, when I then click the button again a focus
rectangle appears. This I do not want. Any Ideas on how to stop this...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
