Say I put an item into a panel and place it onto a form, and I want to know
where on the form the item is in X,Y positions... but If I check the
location property of the item in the panel, that is relative to the X,Y
cordinates (0,0) of the panel, not of the form. How would I know where the
item is on the entire form even though it is in a panel?
Like if the panel is 10 from left and 10 from top of the form, and I place a
textbox in the...

Hi All,
I am struggling with setting up my first system of tables, forms, and reports, and could use your help!
I am setting up a database to keep track of the production of a produced item. The item is a panel, with a specific texture. There are standard panels that are then produced in a limited number of specific textures. The number of panels/project varies, so I keep track of the actual number of panels per project with the count:...

I'm trying to create a form that imports a text file and join zip code fields to our "Master" database x2. I import the txt file and name it based on a "strTableName" which includes the date, a title, and information I put in a textbox on the form. Up to this point it works well, but beyond that I cannot JOIN the fields as I don't know what to put in the table name.
A second thing that I would like to do is add criteria to the queries if...

I have a windows Form that inherits from Base_form. In Base_form I added a
panel that covers the whole Form (panel1.Dock = Fill). The problem is that
all the controls in the Form that inherit from Base_form are "under" this
panel, which means they're not visible..
Is it possible to make these controls visible again without having to make
major changes in the Form?
Thanks.

I am starting to think my reason for an inherited form is flawed.
My original concept was this:
Create a form with a panel near the top with a button in the top right
corner, and then a panel in the middle.
( Basically a basic template of all my forms ).
So I created that form and compiled it.
Then I added an inherted form and made it inherit from the orig form.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
