Binding flow thru for UserControl

Hi,

I have a user control with a textBox on it.
The requirement is to bind the UserControl in the app, like UserControl.Dat aBindings.Add(. ..),
but in fact internally this binding should flow thru to the text box, ie. should work like if it was
UserControl.Tex tBox.DataBindin gs.Add(...)

I spent the whole day trying to figure out, tried diff things like exposing "Text" property of text
box, overriding UserControl.Dat aBindings, but nothing helps.

Any ideas would be highly apreciated!

Thank you,
Andrey

;-) We have @deco def foo(): pass as sugar (unless there's an uncaught exception in the decorator) for def foo(): pass foo = deco(foo) The binding of a class name is similar, and class decorators would seem natural, i.e.,

I have a custom menu usercontrol that is to go on the top of all my asp.net webforms. I was wondering, how can I use FLOW layout on a page that uses this user control? (The reason I need to do this is that I have to DYNAMICALLY create/place hyperlink labels on the webform at various coordinates (based on data from a database). The hyperlinks will actually be placed on top of an image.) Thanks in advance.

Hi I have a question about whether Data Binding can facilitate the process of saving data in a web application I learned that you can data bind information from a number of different data sources to controls such as TextBox, ListBox, etc. I am clear on the concept of data flowing from data sources into web forms controls What I am not clear about is how to make the data flow the other way. When I am ready to save the changes or add a...

Hi, I am trying to populate a list control that is bound to a data table but the display member needs to come from a different data table. I have two list controls in C#, one displaying available categories and one displaying selected categories. In the database these are represented in two tables, the available category table has an ID and a Name. The other table is a category links table that has an ID, Category_ID and a Book_ID.

In a 3-Tier application, once upon a while comes the need for binding objects or usercontrols from other objects, example binding a usercontrol in the Presentation layer from a Business Layer Object, My problem: I have a Dynamically Rendered WebUserControl that it needs some properties that will control how this WebUserControl be Rendered. The information needed are found in a business layer Object. What I thought about is making both...

I've come across an interesting bug. I have workarounds but i'd like to know the root of the problem. I've stripped it down into a short file and hope someone might have an idea about what's going on. It's a simple program that loads a control onto a form and binds "Foo" against a combobox ("SelectedItem") for it's "Bar" property and a datetimepicker ("Value") for it's "DateTime" property. The DateTimePicker.Visible value is set to...

I am perplexed . I thought it is easy to fix the binding error on cvtDtFrom. I only used the cvtDtFrom a couple of places but I found out the error occurred before form loading. I tried searching in the solution for cvtDtFrom but failed to find the culprit. tried using clue from stack trace, searching for DataGridview and variations of view.datacon... no luck, Even tried searching all files for the sub main, I failed to find...

Hi, I'm trying to understand why something does work. If you create a new WPF Applicatin project, WpfApplication6, and set the following: MainWindow.xaml: <Window x:Class="WpfApplication6.Window1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:app="clr-namespace:WpfApplication6"

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
