Setup: How to change the "Welcome to the MyApp Setup Wizard" text?

In the Install-Start-Welcome dialog - how can I change the text "Welcome to
the MyApp Setup Wizard"? For instance, if I would like it to be in another
language.

Hi,

I'm not sure about changing the language itself, If you right click the
setup project/View / User interface you can change several parts in the
setup wizard.

cheers,

Thank you Mr Machin,

Yes, I found the warning and the welcome text below the text "Welcome to the
MyApp Setup Wizard" that way, but I didn't find the "Welcome to the MyApp
Setup Wizard" text.
Can it be changed somewhere else?

Regards,
Joachim

That string is baked into th dialog however there are dialogs included for
several languages. To change this select the setup project open thte
property grid and change the localization drop down grid. Hopefully the
language you are looking for is included. If that does not work, you can
manually edit the built MSI using Orca (it comes with the windows installer
SDK). The strings you will be looking for are in the Control table.

Hello, I have about 15 master catalogs, or master tables, of information that my application uses. The data form wizard is fine because most of them have between 20 and 200 items in them. But I have two master tables that have 10,0000+ and 20,000+ records in them, so the code generated by the Form Wizard takes a long time because it is...

Well, as the subject says.... Briefly, when I try to run *any* wizard, I get a simple dialog, stating "Permission Denied", to which I can only click "OK". I suspect this is a windows (XP) problem rather than an actual Access one, as the error only occurs in my power user (and any other) account. It goes away if I am logged on (to windows)...

I'm wondering what the best practice is for creating a WinApp "wizard" that contains 4 or 5 "steps". Options so far are 1) Single WinForm making various controls visible/non visible at the different steps(although that may get cluttered in the design environment) 2) Create multiple WinForms (don't really know any pros or cons of this...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
