I am trying to populate a listview and I can not see the column headers, is
there a property I am forgetting to set?
Here is my code
// Create three items and three sets of subitems for each item.
ListViewItem item1 = new ListViewItem("item1",0);
// Place a check mark next to the item.

Using VB.NET
I have a ListView with several columns.
Two columns contain integer values, while the remaining contain string
values.
I am confused as to how I would provide functionality to sort columns
based on the column header the user has clicked in both Ascending and
Descending formats.

Listview is Docked=Fill
I set all column widths to -2 and it works as expected if the listview needs
to be too wide for the window. That is, I get an H-scrollbar and the columns
are the correct size.
However, if the window (and thus the listview) is wider that the listview
needs to be it makes the last column extra wide so that it fills...

When setting the Scrollable property of a listview and resizeing it the
headers will be painted wrongly. This defect is documented in MSDN as:
In versions of the .NET Framework prior to version 2.0, the column
headers were not painted correctly when setting this property to false
and resizing the control to make it larger. To work around...

Short of writing a custom version of the ListView control, is there a way to
force the column headers to contain multiple lines. The problem is that the
actual values of the items in each column only need 2 or 3 characters while
the description of them in the column title takes many. Thus, my columns end
up being needlessly wide.
Thanks,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
