I use a ListView control (report view) to show the user a summary of error
messages. The width of the column that holds the error messages is such that
no horizontal scrollbar is needed. However, in some cases, the length of the
error message text is wider than the width of the column. In this case, the
text is hyphened with three...

Hi all,
I wonder if there is a way to prevent user from resizing
the last column by moving the last vertical line on a
ListView, meaning I don't want user to be able to move the
last vertical line and change the width of the last column
on a ListView.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

form, it works. Why don't the items show up in the ListView that I added at
desgn time.

to know if the data will fit vertically or if there will be a vertical
scroll bar. I need to know this so I can allow for it on the overall
size of the listview.
My question therefore is, how can I tell if the items I have added
will fit in the listview at its given...

i know how to work with the owner draw mode in
the ListView-Class, but how do i draw the last three

To make it clear, i am talking about a ListViewItem's
Subitem and the case, the text in the Subitems is longer
than the columns width. This is the standard beahviour

Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
