How to send sms via ws? Is there anyone who tryed this?

I've found http://www.esendex.com and it works great but it's trial..you

Thanks in advance!

I noticed there is some .net services on my winxp. One or two mention the CLR. Does that mean that my .net apps/services wont run before those services start? I need to run my service as early on as possible, it doesnt even need to be a service if there is a way to run .net apps before that, anyone knows what or where?

I've been days with that. I'm trying to work with web services sending and returning objects, and the web service must store some objects. - My first try (the most obvious in my opinion) was to use a class contained in a extern dll so the web service and the application can use it and send or return via web services: public customObject myWebMethod(customObject obj); . I saw that web services can't deal with this cause the WS creates...

Hi All, Here is what I would like to do, any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a forms authenticated web page that accepts user credentials, these credentials are then looked up in a SQL DB, from these credentials we can tell if the the user is an employee or customer. If the user is a customer they are redirected to an ecommerce site, whereas if the user is an employee then I would like to somehow allow the user to connect...

I don't know if this is the correct newsgroup but I couldn't find one for Windows Services Is it possible to check that a Windows Service is still running from another machine The idea being a couple of machines will be running my Windows Services to handle certain parts of our application, these machines will be located in the server room. I would like to create an application that runs on one of the users PC's that checks that these...

I've got two web services that use the same data types and that clients will have to consume. I read the msdn article on sharing types (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnservice/html/service07162002.asp) but I don't want clients to have to add two web references and then manually have to edit the proxy classes. After doing some searching I found that putting references to multiple web services in a .disco...

Hi everyone, We have a need to make a Windows Forms (2.0) client application that will be installed on our clients site. The data that the application uses needs to be centrally available to a potentially large number of other sites, which would seem to leave us with our traditional approach, or having a central database server on a dedicated server someplace.

I have seen many articles describing why versioning web services are important. I have a scenario that I would like to propose to seek a solution. I have a publicly consumable web service. Two different clients, A and B, consume this service. I make framework and architecture modifications that are needed to my web services. Client "A" is ready for the upgrade while client "B" is not ready. I have to publish the update immediately...

So, this may not even be possible, but if so, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction or give me the right terminology to use for searches of code example. Aside from monitoring ports with ping and what not, I'd like to be able to monitor specific installed services on a Windows 2003 machine. Is this possible with PHP? I'm not talking about FTP, IIS, or other Windows services, but rather custom and commercial installed...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
