Detection of routers in c# using WMI

I am trying to write a simple c# application that detects devices which
support snmp and retrieves information about them such as name,
location etc.
I work on a Server 2003 which happens to be a domain controller, I have
installed the SNMP provider from the Add/Remove programs and included
the reference to System.Manageme nt in my project.
I have not been able to find a simple example on how to do this and
whatever I tried, it always ends up in an error saying Invalid
Namespace or Invalid class.

Is there anyone who can help?

So basically i need to connect 2 wireless routers, one with...

I only know a little bit about networking so... I have 2 routers, 5 computers and a cable modem. I thought all I had to do was plug the cable modem into the WAN slot of one router. Connect a regular port on the router to the WAN slot of the other router. And plug in the computers into any of the free jacks. But that didn't work. Everyone on the same router could see each other but couldn't see the others. Still had internet access though. ...

Intrusion Detection Strategies ----------------------------------- Until now, we’ve primarily discussed monitoring in how it relates to intrusion detection, but there’s more to an overall intrusion detection installation than monitoring alone. Monitoring can help you spot problems in your network, as well as identify performance problems, but watching every second of traffic that passes through your network, manually searching for...

Using pcAnywhere, I am trying to setup access to a pcAnywhere host PC that is behind two routers. The first router has a static public IP address on the internet. The second router has it's WAN port plugged into one of the LAN ports on the first router and has a static private IP address. The pcAnywhere host PC is plugged into the second router's LAN port and has it's static private IP address assigned by the second router. From the...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
