IP address from the remote client

Does anybody knows the solution if this problem?

If we wrote the ASPX page and send the request to the remote browser the
remote client browser returns the remote machine IP using by this machine on
the remote LAN, but the remote router of this LAN substitutes the LAN
address by the correct external, public one and we receive the correct
public IP of the remote network. I want to get the same IP using the remote
Windows Application, not IE. What format of packet should be to be
recognized by the router to substitute the local IP address by the external
one? The schema is simple

IIP
LIP 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
Internet <=> Router(Firewall , NAT, DNS Server) <=> LAN
<=> Computer
Provider

I need to get the Internet IP, not Local IP, but the request should be sent
to the machine working on the LAN, i.e. knowing only the local LAN address.
We can and should use the Web Service working somewhere on the Internet and
client machine should connect to this remote Web Service returning the
correct IP. That's the main task.

Hi, Probably an easy answer to this, but I have not been able to figure it out. How can I find the IP-address of the machine that my Java-program is running on ? Could not find any methods in the InetAddress class that does this. The closest I got was the getLocalHost() which will return the IP-address representing the loopback address (usually 127.0.01, isn't it ?). Any ideas ?

When connecting to a server application via a TCP socket connection, how do I retrieve the IP Address of the client computer that is making the connection. I create and IPEndPoint for the client, then call the connect using the endpoint. The server application uses TCPListener to pick up client connections. At this point I want to store the client's IP Address that is making the connection. Thanks for the help.

Hi, I am using an asynchronous socket server to allow comms between multiple clients and my server. I know how to obtain the IPAddress of the client (network device) as shown below :- string sensorIPAddress = ((IPEndPoint)handler.RemoteEndPoint).Address.ToString(); but what I would like to obtain is the physical/MACID of the client.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
