Right click on your tool box, on the tab where you want the web browser
control to live, select Add Remove Items, Select Com Components, Check
Microsoft Web Browser. This will add the browser to your toolbox. Then just
drop it on your form like any other control.

Hi I'm hosting a web browser control (WBC) on a form in a vb.net winform application. When accessing an asp.net application that contains a signed applet from IE, a java notification icon appears in the system tray and a popup appears asking to accept certificates etc... However, the same behaviour does not occur when accessing with the WBC.

Ok, so here's a problem you probably don't see every day: We are building an application that must run in a browser, but we need to do some things client-side that would be rather difficult to pull off with the usual browser-side scripting (javascript etc). It's been decided that this one, complicated function will be implemented by hosting a Winform in the browser. Now, this winform contains an ActiveX control (an HTML editor).

I've authored a custom web component (a non-ui component kinda like a DataSet) and so far it's working. When my web component is added to the web form in the designer from the toolbox, the namespace for my component is automatically added to the using directive of the codebehind. And, the appropriate assembly is added to the "References" for the Web form's project. However, my custom component has a field (initialized to null, and...

Hi! 1. I am using asp.net 2.0 for my application and was wondering is there a way we can hide address bar, menu bar, Links and Standard Buttons of the browser without opening a new window. i.e. nothing should be displayed on the browser except the application content. 2. Actually, we have accomplished this by opening a new window and setting

I would like to host a web browser component in a Winform. I have two questions: 1). Is it possible to run an applet (if the URL pointed to has an applet in it)? 2). Is it possible to change a property (for example) of the web browser, so that it does not display the address (i.e. the URL that the page was loaded from)?

I'm trying to creat a little browser executable, I have added the WebControl to my toolbox, and I have a WinForm ready to place the control on, but the control is disabled - what gives? Simple induction tells me that maybe, Webcontrols can only be used on WebForms - but if this is the case, how can I create an executable using a web form? I thought webforms were run on the server side and displayed in a browser?. please advise

Hello all, We have a form that contains browser control on it. Into that control we load some java applet that acts as an image viewer. On the form load we load the list of documents each with it's own URL that is pointing to the doc location.When you click on the item in the list it loads the document from the url that this item points to. Problem is that when java applet loads the first time it takes forever.

I need to be able to detect when the user clicks on the browser control area. The control offers no Mouse events whatsoever. I have tried to resort to override WndProc on the control, I have a break point set where indicated in the code below which never gets called. Any alternative methods or suggestions on why this isn't working? protected override void WndProc(ref System.Windows.Forms.Message m) {

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
