Another Combobox question - Bug?

I have a ComboBox with the Simple DropDownStyle. when I select an item in
the combobox list the SelectedIndexCh anged Event and the
SelectionChange Commited Event are fired. When I type something into the
ComboBox textfield it de-selects the current selection and any subsequent
query of the comboBox's SelectedIndex property will reveal an index of -1
(nothing selected).

However, there was neither a SelectedIndexCh anged Event nor a
SelectionChange Commited Event fired. Is this right? Is there any way for me
to know the this de-selection occurred.

I have another control showing details of the current selected item and it
looks kinda stupid when it is still displaying the old value that has
already been de-selected.

Any Ideas?

I have a combobox which is used to select records, which is satisfactory at the moment. However, a second user is going to start using this database and there will be 1600 records. This makes the combobox a little unfeasable as searching through this many names would be difficult and time-consuming. I would like the user to be able to...

One textbox, one combobox. The textbox column is going to be coming from a database (actually I could manually create it if i had to). It makes about 20 rows, each with...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
