I don't know if this is in the right place but..
I am writing a VB.Net Class Library which uses Excel to produce workbooks
If I create an instance of Excel and then close it I can get .NET to destroy the instance of Excel, however as soon as I try to add a workbook and then end then close Excel the instance will not close
Code is included below

TcpClient close() method socket leak
when i use TcpClient to open a connection, send data and close the TcpClient
with myTcpClientInstance.Close(); it takes 60 seconds for the actual socket
on the client machine to close per my network app the computer fills up w/
thousands of these

Hello..
This page opens a window with some information, but everytime the user
changes a field in the parent window, the child window needs to be
closed.
These 2 functions were supposed to do the work.
Nota() - opens new window.
fechaNota() - closes the window opened by Nota()

there will be a confirm box that: The web page you are viewing is trying
to close the window. Do you want to close this window?
I have to click yes to close the window.
How can I close the current window directly without this dialog box?

I am having a problem closing a popup window opened modally. When I
try to close the window (when the user hits save button and the data
has been processed), the Popup window opens as a full screen as a new
window. The original window plus the Modally opened Pop remain in a
separate window.
What I want to do is close the popup and return to the original window
with its view state maintained.

In my Finally block, I was using cn.close (where cn is an ADO.NET
connection object, SQLConnection to be exact) and then I came across the
following in some microsoft code.
If Not cn Is Nothing Then
CType(cn, IDisposable).Dispose()
End If
I have to admit, I'm not sure what happens here. Will someone explain this
line of code (the middle one, not the if statement LOL) to me please?

window in the latest versions of IE and FireFox.
There seemed to be two techniques for earlier versions. But the
window.opener='' ;window.close();
and the

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
