Turning .NET Framework trace on

Hi,

The Problem:
WebPermission.D emand() generate an exception ( meaning security validation
has failed ), digging into the code I have stumbled upon the internal class
‘System.Secur ity.CodeAccessS ecurityEngine†™, the Demand() API ( implemented by
WebPermission ) instantiate this class and calls ‘Check(…)†™ on it, ‘Check(…)†™
is an unmanaged API implemented in ‘mscorlib’, browsing ‘Check(…)†™ at the
sscli ( rotor implementation ) I have found lots of debug output APIs
(DBG_TRACE_STAC KWALK, DBG_TRACE_METHO D, . . . ).

The Query:
Is there a way of ‘turning on’ the debug trace for the .NET Framework (
1.14322 ), is there an environment variable of some sort? Is there a
‘checked’ version of the .NET Framework?

Any help, ideas or pointers would be appreciated.

Some time ago, I uninstalled .NET 1.1 and 2.0 from my PC and yet Windows Update keeps on insisting that I need to install Service Pack 1 for .NET Framework 1.1 and a security update (KB928365) for .NET 2.0. I went into the registry and manually removed every instance of "dotnet" that I could find; I followed the instructions of Microsoft's article #824643 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824643); I ran Windows Installer Clean Up program...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
