Ok, stupid question for the day. I'm reading the interview with Steve
Moret and he says: "Once a lot of scripts started going in we knew
there was no way we could back out of using Python."
I'm just getting into Python and am wondering if I'm missing something
or this is just a semantic issue.

Hi,
I'm trying to clear the TIF on Windows XP programmatically with the
below code.
This code works fine on any folder but the TIF. For some reason the
atEnd() statements always defaults to true and no files are deleted in
the folder.
The peculiarity of this issue is that the files/subfolders cannot be
seen through the windows explorer either. I can only access/delete
them through a command shell.
Any ideas?

I had faced this objective in one of my aptitude exams, that
"What could be the smallest "C" program?
And, as we know, smallest program means, it should execute
single statement, I wrote ";" (Semicolon), so, program output will
display blank screen.

I'm using VB 2005. How to get the full path for "Program Files" folder in
Windows,
ie. either it is C:\Program Files or D:\Program Files or etc.?
How about the full path of "Windows" folder? (either C:\Windows or C:\WINNT
etc.)

Hi, I have made an application in C#, where I use the statement
Environment.GetFolderPath(Environment.SpecialFolder.ProgramFiles)
to get the name of the "Program Files" folder.
It works fine in "Windows 2000" and "Windows XP", but it fails when I'm
using "Windows Vista Ultima" in Danish. It returns "Program Files" instead of
"Programmer".
"Programmer " is the name of the folder in explore.

On WinXP, the directory where all the installed programs are stored, can
go under different names, depending on the language of the OS. E.g.
"c:\Program Files" on one system might be "d:\Program" on another. How
dows one refer to the "right" path? I'm remembering something along
"$Program" but i'd like to get an confirmation.
