crystalreportvi ewer always null

Hi,

I've declared the statement below in my form and somehow
crystalReportVi ewer1 is always null. Is there anything wrong with the
statement?

private CrystalDecision s.Windows.Forms .CrystalReportV iewer
crystalReportVi ewer1;

Thanks.

Jordan

Hi,

Did you declared it in the aspx file?

Put this in the aspx file:

<CR:CrystalRepo rtViewer id=CrystalRepor tViewer1
runat="server"> </CR:CrystalRepor tViewer>

Note, check if you have this line at the beggining of the line, include it
if not
<%@ Register TagPrefix="cr" Namespace="Crys talDecisions.We b"
Assembly="Cryst alDecisions.Web , Version=9.1.500 0.0, Culture=neutral ,
PublicKeyToken= 692fbea5521e130 4" %>

You can just double click the CrystalReportVi ewer component in the toolbox
and all the above will be included.

Cheers,

Hi All, I am pretty new to Crystal coding and trying to enhance a report that we have created in .Net I have a CrystalReportViewer control which loads a report from Cache memory. This all works fine. When we close the report we fire a snippet of code using the page.onunload event. This clears the report out of the Cache memory.

I'm trying to create an instance of the CrystalReportViewer control within my class in an attempt to return the rendered HTML back to the consumer of the class. Because I haven't added the CrystalReportViewer control directly to a web page, but have instantiated in manually I've explicitly called the OnLoad, OnInt, OnPreRender and OnUnload in an attempt to get the control to be initialised correctly. Dim stringWrite As New...

I'm asking here because I've posted this question in the crystal newsgroup, waited two weeks, and got zero response. I would be very appreciative if someone could shed some light on this problem for me. I'm using the CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms.CrystalReportViewer available in CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms.dll, version 9.2.3300.0. Why does the crystal report viewer refuse to reload its data when the RefreshReport method is called...

I've been trying for several days to get a Crystal report to display in a Windows form in VS 2003. I'm not new to .NET, nor to Crystal, but I've never tried to display a report until now. I'm trying to connect to an Oracle 8.1.7 database. I can connect to the database no matter how I try (within the report, using TOAD, using SQL*Plus), but when I try to view the report, I am presented with a logon dialog box that always fails with a...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
