Hi,
I am encountering the following linker error on VC7.
LINK : fatal error LNK1171: unable to load ole32.dll
This error is only encountered for the "Debug" configuration. The project
successfully compiles/links in "Release" configuration.
Any help is welcome.

We have two developers, call them A and B, (on Windows XP) developing a
number of asp.net web sites on a shared server (Windows 2003). Everything has
been ok but recently for no apparent reason whenever developer A builds a

I am working on converting a win32 console application from VC6 to VC7.
My version is Microsoft Development Environment 2003 version 7.1.3088.
The code works fine on VC6. it is a console program for scientific
computation, so it has nothing to do with MFC. But it needs some
other libraries such as MKL, sparselib, etc.
VC7 can build the executable successfully. However, when i run it,
there is only one line on the command window:

Hi,
I am getting the MSB3422 exception when trying to build a solution
with MSBuild.
Basically one of the dependencies is a C++ project which is not found
when resolving references.
The exception says: "The project is either missing from disk or access
was denied"
I have checked the security permissions - and it all looks fine -
