No, but why to do it? NT 4.0 will not be support by Microsoft within next
year. So don't take a chance

The good news: Along with Python-2.4 comes really good news to Windows users. Yes, you now CAN build extension modules yourself using the SAME C++ compiler and linker Python is built with itself. Everything you need is available at no costs (except download hassle and installation time). Once your system is set up properly its just a matter...

Hello All, I have been working on this for almost a week now and I haven't anything up my sleeves anymore that I could test in addition or change.... Since I am not sure, if this is a Windows 2003 Server or ADO or ODBC issue, I am posting this on all of the three newsgroups. That's the setup: Windows 2003 Server with IIS and ASP.NET...

Windows Server 2003 is supposed to include Framework 1.1 right. I don't have it here but have reports that the web is not running. The users say that the %COMPUTERNAME%\ASPNET user doesn't exist. Questions: 1. is this user replaced by the %COMPUTERNAME%\NETWORK SERVICE user in Windows 2003 Server (IIS6)? 2. if the ASPNET user still...

We have an odd situation with some of our single-threaded CPU-bound C++ programs. Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
