Crystal Reports parameters issue

Tom
We have a .NET C# web-based application using Crystal Reports 9 to
display reports. One of these reports has a dozen or so parameters. I
would like to avoid having to build some custom parameter screen(s)
that prompts the user for the parameters, but rather have the report
itself (in the viewer) do the prompting (as if you were running the
report in the Crystal Reports designer). I think you could do this in
8.5/ASP with the EnableParameter Prompting method on the Report object,
but I know longer see this in 9.

Is there any way to just have viewer/report prompt the user for the
parameters?

Any help appreciated!
Tom

On reflection, you could possibly make the app a self extracting zip file which extracts the EXE and a settings file and then starts the app, then when you app closes, it can repack the settings file and itself into the exe. You would probably want a tool for this bit which could be in the zip too. So the app isnt single exe when running but...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
