Hello group,
Somehow, I have not yet fully understood the meaning and purpose of
"DoEvents". Can someone post or point me to a clear, concise
explanation of it -- one that includes situational examples of how and
why it is used? The Access on-line help is not as helpful as I need
for my mental density!

VB's more declarative nature of handling events is golden. I'm hoping C#
will acquire this type of deal, in addition to the anonymous delegates.
could do same as vb (actually would be easier to parse then vb due to
braces) whereas you look for Handles keyword after method sig, but before
opening brace of the method.
compiler would implicitly build event handling code for all typed
constructions, ie, any variables instances constructed...

I have a webform that contains a placeholder control that is filled with various usercontrols.
I have an error/info message label on the webform (for interface clenliness). Sometimes the the usercontrol has to populate the message label on the webform. How can I have the webfrom respond to this type of request from the user control?

Greetings,
I have a Windows form application that (naturally) instantiates all sorts of
objects. I have a base object that contains an event. Lots of other
objects inherit from this event. When the base object or any derived object
is instantiated I would like to automagically start listening for the event.

I am making use of the Provider model to create custom logic providers for an
in house winform application.
I have my own provider consumer that is responsible for loading the proper
provider and delegating the methods back to the provider. The provider

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
