use the System.Drawing. Printing namspace and the PrintDocument class.
PrintDocument class is located in the tools menu for forms IIRC. If
you are writing a library, then seek MSDN for more info on the Print
Document Class.

Hi folks, I got a windows com executable which returns a jpg image in a BSTR. Let's say, the var that holds the data is $imgData. With perl, in a cgi script, I may simpy write: 8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<-------- $| = 1; print "Content-type: image/jpeg\n\n";

Hi folks, I'm still having the problem that I don't know how I can print the data of a jpeg image. I got the imagedata as return-value from a COM object. The imagedata are hold in a Variant SafeArray of bytes. Now I want to print the image header: 8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<-------- header("Content-Type: image/jpeg") 8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------

For some reason, most but not all reports printing from an access application our client is using will not print any images on the reports or forms. One report will print the image and data correctly oddly enough. The image header is embedded using the Insert Image feature and not loaded into a database. I can move the image to anywhere in the report and still it will not print out. I've loaded the most recent printer drivers and...

I am dabbling with print CSS for the first time and I need some guidance. The web pages on my site look fine - to my untrained eye - when displayed on the monitor in any of the standard browsers. However, I am new to print CSS and am having trouble getting the text on my printed pages to flow correctly. I know that I need a separate CSS for printing than the one I use for displaying on the monitor; I know that is accomplished by having...

I need to generate an image to print on a small card (15cm x 5cm), the image will be cut from the standart a4 sheet; it was done by MS Access proggie before and I'm rewriting it into ASP.NET. I generate the image using GDI and write it to utput stream using Jpeg encoder and appropriate mime type in the header. Problem is, image is printed poorly qualitywise, I can't figure out how to affect size/quality ratio. I use all possible...

I have the following code which I was using to print .pdf's. It worked fine and actually printed the pdf file. Now I want to use the same code to print a .jpg file. When I run the code, it launches the 'Windows Picture and Fax viewer application' and DOES NOT print the actual image. Is there a tweak to this code or is there some other code I can use to print a specified .jpg file directly from within my .net application???

How do I print a background image? I read another article that says as long as print background becomes a default for IE settings, we need to "cheat" a little to print a site as close to what we see on the browser. So we created a "false" image of the background image, kept it from being displayed on site, but on the print sheet, calls for the "false image" Problem is i have a big gap between the "False" image and the next line. How do I solve...

I have an ASP.NET webapp that needs to view and print several different image formats (JPG, TIFF, BMP, etc.). In addition, it also needs to view/print PDF files. I have successfully implemented the Response.WriteFile(FileName) method to render the various image formats to an Image web control. But, printing this image isn't too slick, as the best I have done so far is printing the entire page (and I just want to print the image). In a...

I'm looking for a way to print stuff from my program. I have searched and searched for a way to print and the only thing I have found is PrintFORM which only takes a picture of the form and prints it in image quality which is really really bad quality. Is there any way to print the text off my form the way it looks and everything? Like how PrintForm prints but instead printing the text in "text quality" and the images in image quality? Im...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
