Hello everyone :)
I am writing some dotNET code to "consume" a web service written in
PHP. So far I have been getting some error messages and PHP seems to
place HTML text in front of the XML message. dotNET doesn't expect the
XML and then it chokes. This is what I get.
The <br> tag from namespace is not expected. Line 1, position 2.
I was able to capture the data going through the network and I've got

Hi,
Please bear with me as I have only 1 weeks .NET experience.
I am using VB.NET to write a stand-alone client application that
connects to a Web service. I successfully send a request for a list
of items (i.e. getItemList), and successfully receive the list. I
then send a request for individual items from the list (i.e. getItem),
and successfully receive the item.

Hi,
I'm trying to create a client for some webservice. BUT I have only
limited information:
* no WSDL available ("expected Q1-06") (it seems to be written in Java)
* I don't have access (yet) to the real webservice
* I *do* have example SOAP messages
What I'm trying to do is to build a dummy webservice, which should accept
(and respond with) the same SOAP messages. Then I can build my code

I have captured some SOAP messages (using org.wsi.test.monitor.Monitor
of the WSI test tool). When I try to analyze the messages with WSI
test tool analyzer, the "message" artifact of the report always return
"Missing Input". I have tried various "correlationType: endpoint,
operation, namespace". When I eyeball the captured SOAP messages,
they looks fine with correct namespace and valid operation name within
the soap body of the...

Summary:
I have been trying to make requests of a web service provided by Axis using
a dotnet client with code generated by wsdl.exe and have
been getting exceptions when trying to process the response.
As a result of seraching news groups I guessed that the SOAP response
defines an array element in a way that causes the dotnet deserialization
routines to put the content in a generic object array (object) BUT the
content is supposed to...

The .NET web service proxy class is great for transparent app process via
SOAP calls. I have a need to log the raw SOAP response messages. Is there
an easy way to do this? I saw there is already a thread about intercepting
SOAP request messages and someone suggested programming SOAP Extensions to
do it. I'm trying to see if there is an easier way since all I need is to
get the message in either a string or stream, and save it somewhere....

my soap messages to a remote site are failing. as far as i can tell the only
differences between what my SOAP message looks liek and what they want are
in the SOAP envelope
SInce they don't have a wsdl doc i created a localhost site based on their
DTD documetns.
How do I configure my site (and client proxy) to match thier envelope?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks

Hello,
I've been trying to create a WCF SOAP Router Service that can forward not
just the message body but also any security headers set by the originator of
the message. The destination service I'm routing messages to uses
WSHttpBinding, SSL with UserName/Password client credentials. Using guidance
from the Technology samples I can create a router that forwards messages
without security credentils but not with them. Can anybody point me...

I work on creating test cases for a SOAP-based set of servers, using
soapUI. I received and updated set of WSDL and schema files, and when I
made new tests and mock server operations, all of the ones that had
been working now returned a SOAP fault. The faults look something like:
<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope">
<soap:Body>
<soap:Fault>
<soap:Code>

ONU (Optical Network Unit) is one of the key components for providing high-speed Internet services. Its primary function is to act as an endpoint device located at the user's premises. Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
