build & sourcecontrol tool recommendation for C#/.Net?

Hi,

Our small company is growing quickly, and we need a source control and
build tool for all our c# .net code.

For build tool, i was thinking Nant. For source control, i was
thinking perforce (for Win).

Any home runs out there?

Thanks!

I've never had the need to work with XML, but I believe I now have an appropriate application. I have time-series data in objects organized as a tree that I want an ASP.NET program to write out to web pages formatted as a matrix. It is not a simple matrix, since the number of row heading cells can vary, but the data cells must be aligned by date (so the heading cells will not be uniformly sized). example of typical rows: 3 heading...

My solution contains multiple C# and C++ components as well as a deployment project. In my top-level C# WinForms application, I added references to some components by browsing to the \bin\debug\*.dll of the desired component. How can I make it use a debug build of a component for a debug build, and a release build of a component for a release build? Thanks in advance for any tips or direction,

So far I've ordered two C#/.Net books off the internet, and they're both *very* sadly lacking when it comes to coverage of Visual Studio .Net. I don't care about the C# language / API. Piece of cake. Pretty much a straight-forward port of Java. What I'm after is a reference guide to the Visual Studio .Net IDE and environment itself -- one with a complete and detailed index, so that when I want to know what's required to do something like,...

Hello everyone, Being complete newbie in asp.net I am trying to make an example which works with a very simple database. First I made my project in VS- vb.net, draging an oledbconnection and an oledbdataadapter from the toolbox into my form. Everything worked fine on my local computer. I was able to search, update, delete and insert into my klanten.mdb database.

I am a parent volunteer for a swim team website (makoswim.org) and am looking for a recommendation for a new web authoring tool . While I am technically oriented and have somehave some knowledge of HTML but not a deep techie. I want to give this site an extreme makeover. The tool I've been using has probably outlived it's usefulness (IBM Websphere Home Page Builder - out of support). I need something easy to use. I'd like to add...

I'm looking for a pattern where different client implementations can use the same commands of some fictive tool ("foo") by accessing some kind of API. Actually I have the need for such pattern for my own tool (http://openswarm.sourceforge.net). I already started restructuring my code to separate the actual command implementations from the command-line scripts (which is optparser-based now) and have some ideas how to proceed. But probably...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
