Hello, two questions please:
1) In a treeview, I want to display folders like it is done in Windows
Explorer. Do I have to do this manually or can I set something up in VS.NET
2003?
2) Most importantly, in Windows Explorer, you can drag the treeview's right
edge to resize it to your will. How can I do this with my treeview (at
runtime obviously)? Do I need to use a splitter? Any info would be
appreciated very much.

in windows explorer, the nodes immed under the "my computer" root node
appear with a minimum of indenting ( the +/- square is directly
underneath the root node ). In the .NET TreeView control the indent
is shifted one more indent level to the right, wasting valuable
horizontal space.
How can I instruct TreeView to indent from the root node the same way
as windows explorer does?
thanks,

How can I use the designer to add a context menu to a class which inherits
from a control, e.g. treeview, without adding the context menu to a form?
For example, to add a context menu with "Select All" and "Clear Selection"
to a checked list box?
Thanks,
Aaron Queenan.

Hi all,
We're currently developping an asp.net 2.0 project, and ran into a
problem with the new menu control.
At the first load of the page, no errors are generated, but after a
first postback an error pops up when hovering over a menu item:
"Error: '0.cells' is null or not an object"

I've got a MultiView with multiple Views.
In one View, I want to display a Treeview on the left side and controls
generated via a Placeholder control on the right side.
If I drag a treeview control into the view it is on the left side. Then I
drag a Placeholder control and it is positioned below the Treeview control.
Why is that?

What is the best way to create a menu bar like the Office menu bar ie
one that can dock to the four corners of the screen? Is it a standard
windows form or is it some other more specialised control?

Just learning......so please be gentle....
This is the idea (wrong as it may be).......
I'd like to code an app that has a treeview for a navigation element that
opens panels (to it's right) based on which element in the treeview is
selected. (Think Outlook - but single panes to the right instead of the
usual double pane.)
Thing is.....I want to be able to easily upgrade my "panels" when the user

In VS2005, when changing the propery of any panels containing a

Does anyone aware of a workaround to this problem?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
