Hi everyone,
I have a ActiveX EXE component written in VB6. This ActiveX EXE exposes
various public methods that can be called by several other independent
Windows EXE applications (also written in VB6).
I would like to port the ActiveX EXE component it to dotNet. What type of
project that I should port it to? A Windows Service or what? Please suggest.
The thing is that I will not be porting the existing Windows EXE

Hi everyone,
I am using the MSComm32.ocx in my application. Visual Studio itself created
an Interop wrapper dll and included the ocx in the application directory. I
packaged these when creating my setup project for the application.
However, on the target machine, when the application is run and the MSComm32
lib is referenced - it gives an error saying "class is not licensed for
use".

Hi,
I've built a webservice in C# that can add public folders to Exchange.
There's also a component built in VB6 which references the Outlook 10 (XP)
DLL, so I can change the default form being used to post to a public folder.
The component works fine when instantiated from a Windows script, but when
using it from COM Interop in an ASP.NET web application it errors when
trying to execute oNs.GetNameSpace("MAPI").
The error it throws...

I am currently working in aproject where I am stuck in merging an
ActiveX control (*.ocx) file into a managed Class Library (*.dll). I want to
hide the ActiveX Control in this managed Dll, so that even when things are
deployed I don't wanna see two files, but only 1 file which is the dll, and
